It is a Small World
Continuing our global virtual educational tour, we explore five of my favorite all-time hotels around the world that have great rooms with a view.
We start with this picture which is the view from one of the rooms at the Hilton Budapest Hungary. Looking on to the River Danube, this 16th Century-style hotel sits next to the iconic Fisherman's Bastion monument and Matthias Church.
A second favorite room with a view can be found at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice in Italy. This hotel is housed in a restored flour mill on the island of Giudecca. The Venice city views are amazing from its roof top pool.
A third favorite room with a view can be found at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo. During my many visits to Japan greatly enjoyed walking in the 400-year-old Japanese gardens and enjoying Kobe Beef in the restaurant located in it.
A fourth favorite room with a view can be found at the Marine Bay Sands in Singapore. Imagine soaking in the world’s largest infinity pool on the 57th floor and gazing down on the city skyline. Its unusual design is a cruise ship built on three skyscrapers.
My final top 5 room with a view can be found at the Kowloon Shangri-la in Hong Kong. This hotel which has an amazing lobby, has a spectacular view of the world-famous Victoria Harbor.
Visualize your favorite room with a view, for it’s a reminder that it’s small world after all.
