People in the U.S. frequently pay more for slower internet service than people abroad, according to a report from the Open Technology Institute.
2021 has been a mixed reality metaverse kind of year. The picture is of me looking down on my little hometown in central Italy a few years ago. I still remember fervently that day reflecting on my life lived in Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
Same as the conclusion that I came to that day, I am very THANKFUL for the risks my parents took to venture to the United States when I was 11 years old. It’s been an amazing ride of continuous learning and exploration of ideas that still inspires each of my days.
As I reflect back on 2021, overall, it’s been another rewarding year. More top global retail & technology recognitions, a new CEO role, and continued expansion of my social media empire with great assistance and encouragement from my family.
Maybe I have been luckier than most. Every day I am inspired by the potential possibilities to change the world. Every night, reminders swirl through my mind on how much I love my life.
Yes, we are still in a pandemic, but as I decided early this year, time is not your friend. Life is short and every minute wasted, you will never recover. As Steve Jobs said in his famous Stanford Commencement Address, “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.”
THANK YOU to my family and to many of you around the world that have inspired this life discovery journey. Wish you all a happy family, lasting friendships, a passion filled career, cultural sensitivity, and endless curiosity for these are the greatest gifts of each holiday season.
Happy, healthy, and Prosperous New Year 2022. Make it a great START towards your self-actualization FINISH.
