Hap, a security and RFID industry icon, died peacefully this past week from complications of being hit by a car just over a month ago. He was an amazing quiet thoughtful inspiring individual, quick with dry jokes, always open to continuous improvement.
The photo is from a Patent Award dinner in 2018 where Hap was in his natural technology innovation element. Hap you made a tremendous difference to Sensormatic and to each of us that were lucky enough to spend quality time with you.
This sudden loss was another reminder that life is way too short. Will miss you my good friend. Rest In Peace.
